Has your investment fund fallen victim to the stock market crash?

Testimonials

I have found your stock pick number versus the ASX200 to be such a valuable chart as a guide to market participation or when diverging an early warning of possible market direction.   After not taking the notice I should have in 2007/08 and paid, I certainly have this time. It also confirms my chart observations- adding confidence.  The market is always interesting.

I find all of Stockradar services consistent, good, and thorough and think the education articles every 2nd week are excellent.

I was just looking through the latest edition of Smartinvestor (Dec 2009) where they listed the best 10 stocks and the worst 5 stocks for 2009....top 100 companies.
Your stock picking strategy chose 10 out of 10 of the best performed stocks with all but one (AQP) trading profitably and most recording a quantum of profit similar to their individual growth for the year.  Additionally, you were not in any of the 5 worst stocks except for one (BEN) where you recorded nearly a 10% gain.........surely this level of performance must be the equivalent of an High Distinction in stockpicking!
Well done.

I know how valued feedback can be, so I thought I'd provide you with some.

My SMSF has turned around spectacularly, and when I analysed the last 6 months of trading, it was showing a net profit of 27% to date. At this rate I'll be retiring a lot sooner.
I've now been with you for just over 6 months, and I'm very impressed with the advice you've been providing, and I personally have learnt so much from your constant flow of advice and newsletters. Being an analytical person myself, I find your ideas very interesting and putting them into practice has been easier than I thought.  I now religiously update my stop losses every week and don't hesitate to sell when they fail.
At first I was a bit skeptical, as all I seemed to be doing was selling shares for a small loss, but then some of the big gainers really took off, far out weighing any losses.  At that point, I was converted!
Thanks and keep up the good work.

The greatest benefit from your service continues to be the education that you provide from your various writings of the newsletter and the weekly sector reports.
I have learnt a great deal with your help ( and Mr Market )  over the last few years and made mistakes that will not be repeated I promise you!
SR has been so instrumental in my growth as an investor/trader and for that I thank you.

Just wanted to let you know that I thought your latest newsletter was a beauty.
The two things that stood out to me are:
The 'noise' out there. The economists and so called share market experts who believe they can predict the future of the market. For example Tom Scollon from Trading Tudors has been shouting out since the end of March that the market is "in a bear market rally" and that we are in for an almighty correction. Yes he may still be right. However the Stockradar people who used their stop losses/stop profits will have been making good money just following the current trend, while the others miss out.
The other matter is buying the stocks that are actually going up, instead of the Telstra's, WOW, BHP, CSL etc that have been going nowhere during this bull rally. The brokers love these companies and recommend them all the time. Why? Yes they may be great businesses and they may have great dividends but are their share prices trending. No. There are many other good companies with valid up trends making new highs, which as you point out, will make you the 'money' you are trying to achieve.
Your strategy has always been this way. I do enjoy the messages that come in your newsletter which reinforce your approach, and provide a bit of common sense to everything.
Thanks for another great article.

The safety of protection advice and a major cash balance during the fall puts me in a position of strength now the market has fallen this far. I look forward to the increase in recommendations from Stockradar that hopefully will precede the next major market rally. Well done Richard Lie .

The support, education and guidance through this dangerous market has been second to none. Stockradar offers a common sense approach with recocmmendations and stop loss levels to help promote my knowledge and ability to trade successfully.

I have just renewed my Stockradar subscription following a very successful first year. I was able to increase my portfolio by 60% plus using the suggested buy and sell recommendations. I particularly enjoy using the Trend Intensity indicator concentrating on those stocks with a 9+ rating. I also appreciate the Daily Stock Alerts, Weekly Sector Reports and the very reasonable subscription fee. I have lost on some positions, but you have to be prepared to cut your losses and move on to the next opportunity. I am more than happy to recommend the Stockradar service and wish all the other subscribers the same success that I have enjoyed.

Richard Lie at Stockradar offers an objective approach to price analysis that takes the emotion out of the trading equation, which in my experience is essential to consistent trading success. The excellent Newsletter commentary continually reinforces the philosophy. I found the service unique, simple to understand, effective and most importantly very valuable to my trading arsenal.

Richard Lie offers a simple and common sense approach to sentiment based trend charting with clear explanations and commentary. I also like the reliable method for identifying trends and setting buy and sell signals that are uniquely enhanced by his own Trend Intensity indicator.

Geoff Campbell, Property Acquirer, Coogee NSW October 2007

I like the simplicity and stock specific guidance with regard to entry and ongoing monitoring of the position. I find the information extremely helpful especially Sunday night’s release of the Stock Pick  update which gives me time to review next weeks entries and exits. With clear explanations of the method and strict money management rules it enhances the rare personalised service Richard Lie of Stockradar offers
Georgina Napier, Stock trader, Kimbriki NSW October 2007

Having just renewed my Stockradar subscription after my first year of membership I thought I would write and tell you of the major benefit that it has been to me.
As I am busy running a small business I use the service as a filter to assist me in stock selection for further investigation and indeed have found it invaluable to me over the last 12 months and of course have paid the subscription fee which I consider to be exceptional value many times over from the information that I have received.
I think it is important to know that I do not see Stockradar as a “tip sheet” but importantly as very much an educational tool to assist me in fine tuning my own stock selection and gaining confidence in the way I invest/trade. The weekly sector reports are fantastic in the respect that it provides the technical detail and the trade philosophy of the stock that is being analysed. It clearly shows the prior support, resistance and overall trend of the stock and just makes it so clear the trigger points when action should be taken. I tend to highlight some of the text as it applies not just to this stock but the process to apply to other stocks as well.
The weekly “Stock Pick and trend intensity” proves to be an excellent summary of the universe of stocks worthy of further analysis and I tend to use this to place markers in my software where price action would dictate a closer look.
When needed the backup and service that you have provided to me is second to none.
In summary I would have no hesitation is strongly recommending Stockradar to anybody as exceptional value.

I have maintained my Stockradar subscription for over three years now as it provides me clear impartial recommendations that help make me money. Delivered in a sophisticated, reliable, easy to digest format Stockradar provides excellent value for money and keeps getting better each year.
Leo Elmslie Ormiston QLD. Feb 2007

Stockradar has been an enormous help in selecting appropriate stocks for our Superfund and I use the new stock picks each week as a pool for my watchlist and further research. Stockradar also provides stop loss levels for all stock picks and this helps me to calculate the number of shares to buy, to responsibly manage risk and to avoid having my profits eroded by staying in a position longer than was wise. The support offered by Richard Lie is excellent and my queries have always been answered promptly. Being a first time subscriber to Stockradar I am keen to re-subscribe as the filtering process and perspective offered provides a clear path to selecting the right stocks that help make me money.
Lee Osman Warners Bay NSW. Jan 2007

As a long term subscriber I find Stockradar's unique filtering process takes out the hard analysis work, which saves me a lot of time and gives me the stock leads I need. By follow the excellent entry and exit levels provided I have gained the confidence required to follow those signals to now become a successful and profitable trader"
